Piano Deliveries from The Piano Shop Bath

Yamaha U3 piano 1988 front

A Busy Week for our Piano Removal Team

Last week was a busy week for our removal team, as well the usual piano hires and removals they had two special deliveries to make to our customers in bath. The first job involved getting a Yamaha U3 into a fifth floor Bath property. If the piano had been any bigger they would have had to take it up five flights of stairs, fortunately our team were able to fit the Yamaha U3 into the lift, but only just. The hard work was worth it though, because the piano was a very welcome addition to this home.

Next up our piano heroes had to install a Kawai K200 into another flat in Bath, the Kawai k200 is a smaller piano than the Yamaha U3 so this should have been slightly easier but given the tight space involved it most certainly wasn’t. The piano removal crew have managed some pretty tricky jobs in their time but this one was up there with hardest. The job involved getting the piano up 9 stairs then round a very tight corner with a low ceiling and up another set of stairs. Difficult, even for the most experienced piano mover, but our three men were not put off and now there is a Kawai K200 sitting very happily in its new home. We were consulted before this sale and helped our customer choose the optimum size of piano to maximise the space they had with as little compromise on piano size as possible. If you have a particularly tight space you wish to see a piano moved into, or out of, give us a call and see how we can help you.
