We have recently become aware of news reports and social media posts suggesting that The Piano Shop Bath is closing.

We would like to reassure all of our customers that this is not the case.

The Piano Shop Bath continues to trade as normal and we remain fully committed to serving customers throughout Bath and the South West.

The planning application recently submitted relates to the future of the buildings that we own, rather than any decision to close the business. Like many independent businesses, we regularly review our long term options to ensure we can continue to grow and invest for the future.

In recent years our business has continued to develop, particularly our restoration and workshop activities. As demand increases, we are beginning to outgrow our current premises and are exploring whether larger premises within the Bath area could provide additional showroom space, improved workshop facilities and a better experience for our customers.

Submitting a planning application allows us to understand what future options may exist for our existing property. It does not mean that any decision has been made to relocate, nor does it mean that The Piano Shop Bath is closing.

If, at some point in the future, we were to relocate, our intention would be to remain in the local area and continue building on more than forty years of trading, offering the same trusted service, expertise and aftercare that our customers have come to expect.

For now, it is very much business as usual. Our showroom remains open, our workshop is as busy as ever and we look forward to welcoming both existing and new customers.
