One piano's stunning transformation
We offer our customers a wide range of finishes from painted upright pianos to metallic grand pianos with options to suit a wide range of tastes. We recently customised a Yamaha U1 upright piano using a bespoke brushed gold finish for a client. The results were very pleasing and you can see the journey undertaken by the piano in the images below.
Here is the Yamaha Piano in its original black gloss finish. It’s a classic instrument that is always a popular choice for pianists: the Yamaha U1s are timeless pianos. This particular Yamaha Piano is now as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside as you can see from the images on the left and right. The one on the left shows the piano against a dark ‘Railings’ backdrop in our showroom, where it stayed for a few days. The integrity of the instrument remains completely intact with no compromises to the piano whatsoever during the careful redesigning process. Our client was very happy with this finished Gold brushed Yamaha, which is now played every day by a discerning and talented pianist.
