Teaching Details

I have over 9 years of teaching experience, working with students of all generations – from very young children to adult learners in their 60s and 70s. I bring a flexible, patient approach to every lesson, prioritising making sure my students feel completely at ease. I firmly believe that building a positive learning environment and a strong teacher-student relationship is just as important as the music itself.

My teaching approach is backed by top-tier academic credentials, having gained a BA (Hons) Degree in Music in 2012, including performance studies at The Guildhall and Trinity Laban in London. I maintain an active, highly diverse professional performance career, and my performing passions range from jazz to classical to salsa. I bring this expertise and authenticity to the lessons I teach, guiding you on your way in whichever musical idiom or style you wish to explore and learn. I cover ABRSM grades in the lessons, for those who wish to follow that pathway, and I have a speciality in helping adult beginners start their musical journey as well.
