About the artist

Caroline Saunders is inspired by the power and storytelling quality behind primitive art after working as a museum guide in Lappland, Norway. She works experimentally pushing techniques and allowing the materials to reveal their character despite being classically trained. Graduate of Exeter College of Art (BA) 1990, she went on to study at Prague Art Academy (AVU) 1994.
