We are delighted to present our fully restored Steinway Model A Grand Piano here at the Piano Shop Bath. This grand piano has been fully restored and includes a new German spruce soundboard, a full restring, new hammers, dampers with a new wrest plank. This instrument we have finished with a high gloss burr walnut finish, the alignment and pattern detail in the burr walnut veneer work is beautiful.
The tone is typical of Steinway, with warm, lyrical mids, deep bass notes and sparkling trebles. The action is wonderfully smooth and responsive with a medium touch. It is capable of playing delicate passages as well as grand powerful tones, making it suitable for all level of pianists. Call us to reserve this instrument.
