John Broadwood & Sons began producing pianos in 1808 in London and were well established. They held a Royal Warrant and supplied numerous instruments to members of the royal family over the centuries.

This beautiful John Broadwood upright piano has been traditionally French polished and is inlaid with marquetry. It has been restored which includes a restring and new hammers and dampers.

The piano has a responsive medium action and produces a warm resonant tone across the registers.
